In an effort to better serve you as a valued student of Beulah Heights University, we hope the following information will be helpful as you purchase your textbooks and other course materials for Summer-2013.
Students who are not receiving financial aid may begin purchasing textbooks by clicking on the ORDER YOUR TEXTBOOKS link below.

Students who are receiving financial aid may begin purchasing textbooks starting April 19, 2013. Online registration for Summer-2013 semester started April 1, 2013. If you register early, complete all financial aid requirements, and your expected financial aid exceeds your semester charges, you will receive an email from MBS Direct Online Bookstore. This email will include your Voucher ID, which is important information necessary to purchase your textbooks and other course materials using the online book voucher process. The Voucher ID enables you to make your purchase early and pay later using your expected financial aid.
It is recommended that you purchase your textbooks and other course materials at least ten days before the start of class to ensure a timely delivery.

Procedures for Using Book Vouchers
- To obtain a book voucher or voucher ID, you must first complete the financial aid process, which includes receiving your financial aid award letter.
- If you are a first time borrower, you must complete the online loan application and entrance counseling in order to receive financial aid.
- Once you have completed the financial aid process, you will need to complete your online course registration.
- You must be registered at least half-time (two classes) to receive financial aid loans. If you are in the MBA or Doctor of Ministry programs, half-time is at least one class per cohort session.
- Your expected financial aid must be greater than your semester charges.
- After the above information is complete and once your voucher information has been submitted to MBS Direct, MBS Direct will send an email to your BHU email account with your book voucher ID. BHU will submit book voucher information daily prior to the scheduled textbook purchase deadline, which is May 27, 2013.
- Once you receive this email from MBS Direct, you may then go online to MBS Direct and order your textbooks and other course materials up to the value of your book voucher.
- If you are receiving a book voucher, your student account will be charged a book voucher allowance charge equal to your book voucher limit. This book voucher charge will be reversed or adjusted when actual purchased transactions are received from MBS Direct and posted to your account.

However, the textbook purchase deadline for MBA Term II students is July 8, 2013.
- Once you receive this email from MBS Direct, you may then go online to MBS Direct and order your textbooks and other course materials up to the value of your book voucher.
- If you are receiving a book voucher, your student account will be charged a book voucher allowance charge equal to your book voucher limit. This book voucher limit charge will be reversed or adjusted when actual purchased transactions are received from MBS Direct and posted to your student account. This reversal or adjustment may create a credit on your student account. This credit will be processed and paid to you before Summer-2013 semester ends, which is July 13, 2013.
- SPECIAL IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you do not want to use BHU book voucher system for Spring-2013, please send an email to businessoffice@beulah.org using your BHU email. Your email should specifically indicate you do not want to use BHU book voucher system for Summer-2013. When submitting this email, please include “BHU BOOK VOUCHER – OPTING OUT” in the subject area of your email. Please note if an email is not received by the Business Office by April 18, 2013 indicating you do not want to use BHU book voucher system for Summer-2013, your student account may be later charged a book voucher limit charge not greater than your book voucher limit amount. Online Book Voucher Process, Limits and deadlines
If you are receiving financial aid for Summer-2013 semester, please pay close attention to the different voucher categories below. Click on the category that applies to you.
VOUCHER CATEGORY #1 – RETURNING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
This category refers to undergraduate students who have received financial aid from Beulah Heights University during previous semesters.
- Enrolled Full Time (4 or more classes) , and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $550.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $550.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $550.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled THREE FOURTH (3/4) TIME (3 classes) , and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $400.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $400.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $400.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled HALF (1/2) TIME (2 classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $250.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $250.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $250.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled LESS THAN HALF (1/2) TIME (less than 2 classes) , and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $125.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $125.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $125.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- If you plan to use BHU’s ONLINE BOOK VOUCHER system, your textbooks must be purchased by the May 27, 2013 deadline.

VOUCHER CATEGORY #2 – NEW UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
This category refers to undergraduate students who are receiving financial aid from Beulah Heights University for the very first time.
- Enrolled Full Time (4 or more classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $550.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $550.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $550.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled THREE FOURTH (3/4) TIME (3 classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $400.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $400.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $400.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled HALF (1/2) TIME (2 classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $250.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $250.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $250.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled LESS THAN HALF (1/2) TIME (less than 2 classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $125.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $125.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $125.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- If you plan to use BHU’s ONLINE BOOK VOUCHER system, your textbooks must be purchased by the May 27, 2013 deadline.

If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $700.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled HALF-TIME (1/2) Time (2 classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $500.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $500.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $500.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.

- Enrolled Full Time (3 or more classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $700.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $700.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $700.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled HALF-TIME (1/2) Time (2 classes), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $500.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $500.00. This category refers to MBA students who are receiving financial aid from Beulah Heights University for the very first time.
- Enrolled Full Time (2 or more classes per session), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $700.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $700.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $700.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled HALF-TIME (1/2) Time (1 class), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $500.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $500.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $500.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- If you are registered for Term I and you plan to use BHU’s ONLINE BOOK VOUCHER system, your textbooks must be purchased no later than the May 27, 2013 deadline. A new book voucher file will be submitted to MBA Term II students. Also, the textbook purchase deadline for MBA Term II students is July 8, 2013.

This category refers to current MBA students who have received financial aid from Beulah Heights University during previous semesters as a graduate or undergraduate student.
- Enrolled Full Time (2 or more classes per session), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $700.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $700.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $700.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- Enrolled HALF-TIME (1/2) Time (1 class), and the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges for Summer-2013 semester is $500.00 or more, your Online Book Voucher maximum limit is $500.00. If the difference between your total pending financial aid amount and your total eligible charges is less than $500.00, your maximum book voucher limit will be the difference only.
- If you are registered for Term I and you plan to use BHU’s ONLINE BOOK VOUCHER system, your textbooks must be purchased no later than the May 27, 2013 deadline. A new book voucher file will be submitted to MBA Term II students. Also, the textbook purchase deadline for MBA Term II students is July 8, 2013.
